AT MSU: Competed in nine meets for the Racers last season as a true freshman...Season best in javelin (96’09.00") and shot put (36’06.25") happened on April 28 at the Austin Peay Invitational in Clarksville, Tenn....Season high in shot put was a toss of 37’10.75" on Jan. 20 at the Saluki Booster Invitational in Carbondale, Ill....Season high in the 20 pound weight throw was her toss of 39’10.50" on Feb. 24 at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships...Was named by the United States Achievement Academy as a Collegiate All-American Scholar Athlete for the 2006-2007 school year.
BEFORE MSU: Attended Christopher High School, where she set the shot and triple-jump school records...Lettered in volleyball at CHS, where she was named team MVP her junior season, leading the team in hits both her junior and senior years...Was class Valedictorian at CHS, earning a 4.0 GPA...Was a member of National Honor Society, and was named an Illinois State Scholar...Also won two Gold Keys in Scholastic Arts.
