AT MSU:
One of three captains on last year’s MSU squad...Finished in eighth place in the weight throw competition at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships, with a throw of 47’03.75" (14.42 meters)...Her discus toss of 141’04.00" at the Gatorade Classic in Cape Girardeau, Mo. was the second-best toss in the OVC in 2007...Became the 11th Racer to individually win the OVC javelin championship in 2005, with a 126’11" toss, and first since 1998...Was named by the United States Achievement Academy as a Collegiate All-American Scholar Athlete for the 2006-2007 school year...Was named to the 2005-2006 OVC Academic Honor Roll...Also earned the OVC Medal of Honor and a place on the OVC Honor Roll in 2004-2005, with a 3.68 GPA...Finished in second place in the OVC in discus in 2004-’05, with a toss of 135’7".BEFORE MSU: Attended Mater Dei High School, where the Wildcats finished third in the state in discus her senior year...Also played basketball and golf at MDHS.
