John Brush

John Brush is in his third year in the Murray State Athletics Media Relations office.
He joined MSU after six years with the athletics department at the University of Texas-Arlington.
He is the primary contact for Murray State football, men's & women's tennis and baseball.
At UTA, Brush worked with the Mavericks volleyball, women's basketball and baseball teams and assisted the media relations efforts for the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars.
Prior to his time at UTA, Brush served as an intern in the sports information department at Angelo State where he was the media contact for the 2002 NCAA D-II Track & Field Championships.
Brush earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Waynesburg College in 2000. While at Waynesburg, he worked in the school's sports information department and for the department of game day operations with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), Brush is single and resides in Murray, Ky.
