Eric Frederick is in his 17th year as assistant athletic trainer at Murray State.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Frederick's primary duties include the day-to-day handling of the MSU men's basketball team's training needs.
Frederick also assists with MSU football in addition to supervising the coverage of Murray State's spring sports and student athletic trainer staff.
Frederick came to Murray State from Texas Christian University, where he served as a student and graduate assistant trainer.
A 1992 graduate of TCU with a bachelor's degree in physical education, Frederick also earned his master's degree from TCU in May of 1995.
Frederick is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification and is a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician.
He is also a member of the Kentucky Athletic Trainers' Society and the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association.
He is also licensed by the Texas State Department of Health.
Frederick is the director of the MSU Student Athletic Trainer Workshop held on campus.
Frederick and his wife, Christy, are the parents of a son, Elliot.
