The 21-year resident of Murray also is the advisor for Alpha Sigma Alpha social sorority, is an active member at First United Methodist Church where she plays in the handbell choir, and has been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life for 10 years.
She has served as the first co-chair of the Calloway County Relay for Life and is past chairperson of the Mid-South Division Relay for Life Task Force. She currently serves on the National Relay Advisory Team, is co-chair of the National Relay for Life Leadership Summit and member of the Celebration on the Hill 2006 Task Force.
