Janet Futrell is in her 22nd year in the Murray State Athletics department.
She has served in many areas since starting as sports information/Racer Club secretary in 1988.
In 1994, she became secretary to the athletics director, game/event manager and concessions coordinator, positions she held until 1998 when she became administrative assistant to the athletics director.
In 2006, she took moved to her current position of athletics budget coordinator.
Janet is married to Barry Futrell, they have two daughters, Courtney, 19, a sophomore at Murray State and Whitney, 9.
