Kyle Steve enters his first year as the equipment manager at Murray State. He oversees the equipment room for all 16 MSU sports.
Steve came to MSU after spending last year as the head equipment manager at Southwest Minnesota State. He oversaw all Men’s Sports which included football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling programs. Which included ordering, packing, laundry and any other of the sports needed.
Prior to his time in Marshall, Minn., Steve served as the assistant equipment manager at The Citadel Military College in 2003-04. He was responsible for working with the football, baseball, basketball and wrestling teams.
In between his two equipment manager positions, Steve spent the 2004-06 seasons serving as an offensive line coach at Worthington High School and helped lead the Trojans to the 2005 state playoffs.
A native of Worthington, Minn., Steve graduated of SMSU in 2003 with a degree in sports management. He is currently working on a master’s in sports leadership.
